This Privacy Policy explains how AIVideoLiao (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you use our AI-powered video generator SaaS for sales teams and marketers (the “Service”), including when you visit localhost:3000 (production: agentvidmy.com).

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide and information generated through your use of the Service:

  • Account info: name, email, and password (hashed).
  • Payment info: processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card numbers.
  • Content data: scripts, prospect names, and companies you enter to generate videos.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, credits consumed, and basic diagnostic events.
  • Cookies: session tokens used for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising or ad-tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To generate AI videos based on your inputs.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To send transactional emails (for example: video ready notifications, low credit alerts, billing receipts).
  • To improve the platform, monitor performance, and fix bugs.
  • We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • Data is stored on encrypted servers.
  • Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
  • Video content and scripts are stored temporarily and deleted after 90 days of inactivity.
  • We use industry-standard TLS encryption for all data in transit.

4. Your Rights (PDPA Malaysia + GDPR)

AIVideoLiao is Malaysia-based and subject to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). We also serve users in the EU and globally, so GDPR rights may apply depending on your location. Subject to applicable laws and exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • Access your data.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Data portability.

5. Cookies

  • We use only essential cookies for authentication sessions.
  • No advertising or tracking cookies from third parties.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted vendors to operate the Service:

  • Stripe (payments) — stripe.com/privacy
  • Vercel / hosting provider (infrastructure)
  • AI model APIs used to generate videos — your scripts are processed to generate output, and are not stored by the AI provider beyond the request.

7. Children's Privacy

  • The Service is not directed at anyone under 18.
  • We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

  • We'll notify users via email for material changes.
  • Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated policy.
